Machine Shop Beach Fishing Club Open

April has been a good month for Ventnor club member Shaun Graham who took second place in the Western Wight AC spring open with a Conger at 22lb 10oz and then won last weeks open hosted by machine shop beach fishing club with yet another Conger at 21lb 7oz. Graham also won the sweep for heaviest fish and the pairs with Neil Brinsden who shared the sweep for best specimen with Mark Johnson each having a Dogfish of 2lb 2oz. Johnson took second place overall with 12lb 8oz and Paul Rose was third with 12lb 3oz. Kayleigh Barton won the ladies with 2lb 13oz and Donna Fincham was second on 2lb 12oz. A. Aisher was top junior on 1lb 13oz and Luke Spary second on 1lb 8oz. A total of 101 anglers signed on with 55 registering at the weigh in.
