Paul Brayford received the runner up award and Kay Salmon was second in the ladies. 10 year old Joe Salmon won the junior league and was also presented with £20 by Barney. The chairman’s cup sponsored by Holbrook removals went to Mark Brooks and Harry Holbrooks aged 10 took second place. The junior summer winners were Brandon Mabey and Kane Brookes.  Despite only having 23 members and still in there first year the club also rounded up an impressive amount of new and used fishing equipment for the people at Haylands Farm following an appeal by Jill Waterhouse who has been taking teaching groups fishing over the last few months. Jill was presented with the equipment by club members and sponsors who she thanked on behalf of all the students at Haylands. Jill also had a special thank you to Scotties, Martin of DARES, Barney of BTFC and Pamela Thomas owner of Temptress who has kindly allowed students to fish from her boat many times and has been very generous with tackle. The committee also thanked, UK Hooks, Telecom club, the Trophyman, Diamonds pet supplies, pride of Cowes , Blakes News, Shaun Graham and Struts property for all the help and support.  We are still looking for any tackle as well as trophies so if you can help contact any Telecom club, Western Wight, committee member or Scotties tackle.
